Sales & Payment

• Payment must be received in full before a ball python is shipped or released to the buyer.

• We do not currently offer payment plans. We are happy to place a ball python on hold with a non-refundable deposit. Once a deposit has been made, it is considered a commitment to purchase that snake and will not be refunded if the buyer changes their mind.

• A ball python is not considered sold or reserved until the required deposit or full payment has been received.

• We reserve the right to back out of a sale and provide buyer full refund.​​​​

Shipping

 -Shipping for ball pythons will all be through morph market -

• We personally ship our ball pythons using overnight delivery. For the safety of the snake, we monitor weather conditions at both the origin and destination before shipping.

• We will not ship a ball python when weather conditions are unsafe or likely to pose a risk to the snake. If weather conditions require us to delay shipment, we will work with the buyer to arrange the next safe shipping date.

• The buyer must be available to pick up the snake directly from the closest FedEx facility to them. We do not offer residential delivery.

• Once the ball python has arrived at the FedEx facility, the buyer is responsible for picking it up promptly. Within the hour of arrival is ideal.

-Hides-

• Your hide will ship between 2-7 business days. Custom hides may take longer.​

Local Pickup

• Local pickup is available for customers located in Florida who would prefer to pick up their ball python or hide in person.

• Pickup arrangements must be made in advance. The remaining balance, if applicable, must be paid in full before or at the time of pickup.

Weather Delays

• The safety of our ball pythons comes first. We reserve the right to delay shipping if temperatures, storms, hurricanes, extreme weather, or other conditions make shipping unsafe.

• Weather delays are not considered a cancellation of the sale. We will communicate with the buyer and arrange shipment when conditions are safe.

Live Arrival Guarantee

We guarantee live arrival when the following conditions are met:

• The ball python is shipped using our approved overnight shipping method.

• The buyer picks up the ball python from the FedEx facility promptly upon arrival.

• The buyer follows all agreed-upon shipping and pickup instructions.

• The snake has not been exposed to unsafe temperatures or conditions after pickup.

If a ball python does not arrive alive, the buyer must contact us immediately upon pickup and provide clear photographic/video evidence of the ball python and its condition.

We will work with the buyer to determine the appropriate resolution.

The live-arrival guarantee does not apply to issues resulting from the buyer's failure to promptly pick up the ball python, improper handling, unsafe transportation after pickup, or other circumstances outside of our control after the ball python has been received by the buyer.

Health Guarantee

• All ball pythons are sold in good health to the best of our knowledge at the time of sale. We take the health of our ball pythons seriously and maintain records for each snake, including feeding history.

• Once the snake has been picked up or delivered, the buyer assumes responsibility for providing appropriate housing, temperature, humidity, food, water, and overall care.

• We strongly recommend having the ball python's enclosure completely set up and ready before bringing the snake home.

Feeding History

• Feeding history varies depending on the age of the ball python and when the snake is purchased.

• We maintain a feeding log for our ball pythons and can provide the buyer with the snake's known feeding history, including the most recent feeding date, when available.

• We do not guarantee that an ball python will eat immediately after being purchased or moved into a new environment. Changes in surroundings, transportation, enclosure setup, and handling can temporarily affect a ball python's feeding behavior.

Sex Guarantee

• We guarantee the sex of our ball pythons to the best of our ability. Ball pythons are sexed before being listed and the sex provided in the listing is guaranteed.

Returns

We understand that sometimes circumstances change and a buyer may determine that they are unable to properly care for their ball python.

• We will accept the return of a ball python if the buyer feels they are no longer able to provide proper care.

• Returns do not qualify for a refund.

• If the ball python was originally shipped to the buyer, the buyer is responsible for paying the shipping fee associated with returning the snake.

• The ball python must be returned in good condition and arrangements must be made with us before the snake is returned. We do not accept unauthorized returns.

-Hides-

• We do not accept returns for hides.

Buyer Responsibility

By purchasing a ball python from Lucy’s Ball Pythons, the buyer agrees to provide appropriate care and housing for the snake.

• The buyer is responsible for researching the care requirements of ball pythons and ensuring they are prepared to properly care for the snake before purchasing.

We are always happy to answer questions and provide guidance regarding the care of your new ball python.

Final Sale & Agreement

By purchasing a ball python from Lucy’s Ball Pythons, the buyer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these policies.
